2021 Annual Impact Report
The unique challenges of 2020, from devastating tornadoes in Tennessee to a global pandemic, put the nimble nature of public charter schools to the test as educators across the state quickly identified innovative ways to keep students engaged and avoid learning losses. TCSC was also faced with the need to be creative and flexible in the ways we supported public charter schools, as well as their families and educators.
In this year's TCSC Annual Impact Report, we highlight not only the challenges and successes of Tennessee's public charter schools over the past year but also inspiring stories that illustrate why our collaborative work is so important. We are excited to share our 2021 Annual Impact Report with you.

Understanding Charters Campaign
During the Spring of 2022, the TCSC Communication Team will launch the first leg of “Understanding Charters,” a campaign highlighting grassroots and grasstops charter supporters, charter school parents and educators sharing their personal journeys toward understanding charters. Some came from a place of skepticism or even opposition to charter schools initially, but all have come to understand the role charter schools play in the educational landscape. These Understanding Charters videos will be able to be utilized in many ways, from social media posts to introductions for public speaking engagements or legislative meetings, media pitches, powerful quotes for communications resources, and more.
